well i said fuck it and bought a bike (Kawi ninja zx-6r 636) and found a job thats 6min away from home.

I would just like to remind everyone that America voted twice for a Texas Oil man and now is complaining about gas prices. WTF did you think was going to happen.

Also, during President Clinton's last year in office, oil was on avg. $11 per barrel. You think that is just a coincidence.

i heard somewhere that the companys that actually drill for the oil sell it to the major supliers for like 5 bucks a barrel and the rest is a mark up so they make a huge profit

I like how they say their gas price rise is random yet it always happens on holiday's when they know people are doing a lot of travelling. What a coincidence...we are gettin fucked dry by the system and there is nothing we can do about it especially not with a chain letter. Just have to suck it up and buy the shit until someone makes a vehicle that runs on something else.

That would not surprise me at all.

we need to say f$ck it and start drilling in the gulf(us gulf) and tell all the ahole greenpeace beotches that we need to do it then watch how fast the middle east drop their prices. period we know that there is oil out there but we have not built an oil rig out there since the 60's because of all the protesters.

First of all there is only 281 million people in the U.S. according to the 2000 census, and probably less than half of that drive. So there is no way you could get 300 million people to boycott a company when there isn't even that many people consuming there product.
Second, until some of the oil company executives show some ethical responsibility and start doing business with the golden rule in mind we will be paying whatever they think they can get out of us for a gallon of gas.
