Does anyone know where i can get like a full glass top for my truck. the one i am talking about is similar to like a sunroof only bigger. It is sorda like a rag top only glass. I think i put that into understandable words. Help please. My truck got into a major hail storm and i need to replace my top skin but if i can find this i wont have too, and no i dont want an ordinary rag top.

you mean a super dome? Replaces the back window and the top skin, and you can take it off completely?
They are bad as hell but they quit making them like 13 years ago.

I remember back in the day Chevrolet dealerships used to offer the "Super Dome" on the S-10's as a dealer option.
Like Russ stated, these were offered right around 13 years ago, not to sure if you will have any luck finding one now a days.

Sounds like hes talking about the one that is in Purple 06 4 door that Dave built. I cant remember the name of the company but they are hella expensive.

the glass Dave has in the Ford is from http://www.ltismartglass.com/ and yes it is hella expensive. Webasto makes large glass sunroofs, and there is another company that I remember makes the roofs similar to the Pontiac G6s with the different panels that slide back. I cant remember what that company is, but im sure someone will know.

ok so maybe i do need to go the rag top way.. glass tops look awfully expensive for a 16 year old.

I would save up and do the glass, its definately worth it. Ive had a ragtop and had nothing but problems with it, and most people I know that has one wont do it again. Its one of those love it or hate it things.

i just have to get something to really change up the look a little cause im trying to get into so it has to be impressive but honestly i dont think i can afford the glass. it isnt feesable to me.. i may just have to suffer with the rag but my truck will be show only so maybe that will decrease the chances of it having many problems.
