actually i think the protege5 is nice looking...i thought about buying one >.

the control arms are probably mounted like the front of an s-10. ie, at an angle. you could build tubular arms for it and make cutom mounting points. itll take work, but it keeps your 5 lug and disks.

this is w/o ever looking at the rear suspension. just an idea.

if it has rear struts, then they probaly are not vertical. then youd have to rebuild the strut tower straight up and down. which can also allow you to raise them, getting you that much lower, which is not a bad thing.

either case, its a butt pile of work, but will look bitchin if/when done
