i was wondering what shocks you guys are using for the front of an 84-94 toy (part # & brand, or vehicle application). if not then i'll go to auto zone tomorrow & go through the catalogs & look for collapsed & extended legnths but i was hoping to save some time by hearing what you are using.

thanks in advance,corey

I'm setting mine up for the stock ones. A few guys I know have been using mid 90s Nissan HB shocks. Don't know what the difference is, but they put them on everything. Might get a lot of travel.

i know i don't want the stem & loop style because of the angle i have to mount them (i want the double loop 0-==0 type) but i'll check into the nissans. thanks.
anyone else have an idea before i spend god knows how long at auto zone in the morning?

thanks again,
corey

I'd recommend Doetsch Tech Nitro drop shocks. They are made for lowered suspension set up's and available in different mounting set up's, as well as travel lengths. If you know what the collapsed and expanded measurements are, I can get you hooked up, just shoot me an email: Sales@BlazinKuztumz.com. Trust me, I own a hardbody, the front stock hardbody shocks still SUCK, that's why most of the guys I know switch out to Nitro's.

Go get some shocks for a 65 beetle, Bobby (sadisticiron) told me about them and they are perfect size for almost any truck. they are only 12-15 bucks a piece depending on where you go. they have eyelets on both ends, and if you dont want the dust cover just cut it off.
