police harrasment

Just this past saturday night i was comin home from a buddies house... nothing to drink at all... and i turn off the highway and come into town well a cop passes me in the other lane pulls a u-turn and starts followin me... now i have lived in this town for 22 years and have had a fixed up truck for 5 years, this particular truck for 1 1/2 years... well he follows me all the way and turns down my road well i pull over in the car wash and he pulls in... i say can i ask why u are followin me? He says ur license plate is displayed improperly, its supposed to be on the bumper, which he says i dont have... I say can u see it??? He said yea i can see it very clearly *its in the back glass with a light on it*... I asked y he pulled a u turn then if he could see it. He said cause its illegal to have it displayed there and i dont have a bumper. Well here is where my researchin comes in handy... i say well truthfully i have a bumper, i have something between the frame rails and the car hitting them *fullskin combo* and he said he would have to check on that??? WTF he should know he is a cop!!! I finally asked him if he is goin to give me a ticket and he said no, but i need to get a bumper and put my license plate there. Can someone explain this? Cars dont have it on the bumper but it is on the rear part of the vehicle??? Aint like i can put the bumper back on with the skin welded in and new tails in *which he never said anything about*

sounds like a justified stop to me. It also states that you cannot alter the factory tail light, wether or not it emits red. Not his fault for doing his job.

If people don't like the DOT's requirements, why not fight them and get it changed?

Vickie....I owned that Bodydropped ride LOOOOONNNGGG before I became a cop, never stopped other than speeding. Sold it a year after I became a cop to finance my wedding... Good try tho Grandma!

C'mon Robbie, you should know we are profiled because of what we drive...When I was daily driving the suburban I got pulled over and harrassed all the f'in time...now that i drive a stock ass 99 GMC with blacked out windows I dont get any shit.....

strange thing... I never got pulled over rollin around in my bodydrop? Well, I recant that, I did get stopped for 94mph in a 70mph, DAMN COPS, WHAT WHERE THEY THINKING?!?!?!

Cause it was green!!....gosh...paint that sucker orange and theyd be all on your ass

well this past week i was pulled over by a cop who was sittin in a parking lot about 300 yards from me. i was not speeding what so ever, actually going under the limit cuz i just left a red light, not even riding low. so i get down the road and look in my mirror and look who it is, doing at least 80mph down a 45 limit road just to get right on my ass so he could follow me for about 3 miles. soon as he got on my ass i set my cruise at 40mph. i knew he was eventually gonna pull me over, and i started thinking of things he could be pulling me over for...the only illegal thing with my truck is shaved door handles, and i knew he wasnt gonna stop me for that. so finally he turns his lights on and pulls me over. he claims FROM 300 MOTHER FUCKING YARDS that he saw i wasnt wearing my seatbelt. with my windows up and 20% tint, and his gay fucking ass being 300 yards away...its literally impossible to see if i had it on or not. and the sad thing is...I WAS WEARING MY SEATBELT. so of course he simply claims i put it on when he got behind me.

to top it all off, while he was writing the ticket his personal cell phone rings, so he goes and stands directly in front of my truck and begins a 15-20 minute (literally) conversation with what was most likely his life partner and/or male fuck buddy. the conversation was entirely about their Final Four bracket picks. wow...how professional. so after he was done giggling his school boy faggot ass off he comes and gives me the ticket finally.

but i guess he was just doing his job right? wow must be a great experience to be such a sack-tickling asshole. where do i apply? and yes i agree i would fucking love to see his side of the story...onyl if he put what he was honestly thinking, which would most definetly go soemthing like this: "hey look, a nice truck...im gonna punish him for the hobby he chose to peacefully enjoy". pull ur head out of ur fuckin ass

I got pulled over about a month ago,for fog lights(they are actually driving lights)anyways then he says my tag light is out...writes me 2 $100 tickets and says have a good night...I get home,tag lights are working fine,so I call the police station at 2 in the morning to tell them about it,of course I have to go up there so they can look at it,all he said was well its working now huh?so i got rid of that ticket, as for the fog light ticket,I called the city attorney and he said there is no such law in Enid about fog lights and he rips the ticket up...what the hell,and to top it off we sat there for at least 20-30 minutes while he wrote my tickets out!!!

I know where I live the cops don't realy hassle people too much. I mean if you are bieng an idiot, you deserve to get a ticket. I have had my S-10 bagged for about 8 years. I have NEVER been pulled over out of the blue for doing nothing. I even drove it daily with clear tails for 3 years, not once did I get stopped. The last time I got stopped in the Dime, I was dragging. So I deserve a ticket, but he spares my a wreckless driving ticket, and writes me for no seat belt. He was right, I had not put my belt on, because I went from 1 parking lot to another at blooddrag, otherwise I ALLWAYS have my belt on. I know from growing up on the beaches of Pinellas County, that some Cops are just out to harras young kids in nice rides, but that's the way life goes. We chose to modify our rides, we need to be able to face the consequences of doing so.

my buddy was drivin his STI with me and 2 other friends in it, it was raining out and he was drivin pretty fast and aggresive we all told him to slow down but he didnt. we were 1 min away from our destination when we see the blue and reds. the cop is a real dickhead, he ask all our ages, 3 out of 4 of us are over 18, the other which is 17 is asked if they had ever been arrested, then he takes all our ID's. *NOTE: i am in the back seat. my buddy gets a ticket we get all the way back to our dorm room like 3 hours later and he realizes that my F*CKIN name is on the ticket. that dumb-mother-f*ckin cop gave ME the ticket. now my buddy is like 6'5" i am 5'7" soo there is nooooo way he could have mistakin us. soo i call the police department at like 2 in the morning and b*tch them out they connect me with the officer and he says to have my buddy come down in a few days and he will work it all out. soo my buddy does and everything is all good...WRONG the cop issues my buddy a ticket and doesnt take the one he issued me off the records soo it it was still showing up on my record.

I've gotten stopped on my altima for a so called noise violation when my windows were up and the cops windows were up and i didnt have subs in my car at the time....officer said my music was loud enough b/c some people at a church turned and looked at my car (at the time it was purple with blue fenders everybody looked).....after lookin up all my info and coming back clean he didnt issue me anything but told me he didnt want to hear or see me in the town again......one of my friends in the same town got a seatbelt ticket and had 4 cops surround him in the parking lot just to give him the ticket.......the cop that stopped me did get fired about 2 wks after stopping me from complaints about harrassment........F the police........DC BEEOTCH

hey Robbie, me again It couldn't have been that LOOOOONG ago 'cause your heart is still in it (hence, you're on this forum). So hopefully now when YOU pull mini trucks over...you'll remember the good times you had in your bd (let's all say it together now...illegal suspension) and go easy on them!
