tubbin firewall

do i need to tub the firewall for 18's on a 89 with 2 1/4 bodydrop?

i didnt have to tub mine, but it would also depend on your tire size

we didn't have to on my buddy's 90 space cab and he is running 215/35/18 with a 2 1/2 inch body drop
