i have a 2000 gmc ext cab 4x4 w/tow package i wouldnt tow w/ less than a 1/2 ton truck just make sure you have a good trailer brake kit w/tow bars ect

i use my 05' f150 to pullmy big 4x4 on a 22 foot trailer and i get bout 13 mpg. it has the 4.6 in it.

04 Silverado 1500...5.3L V8..it does ALOT better than the 03 Ram w/ a Hemi that i had..it sucked at towing

my dad towes tractors and a race car all the time with his deisel f250. it has more than enough power and stops well with or without trailer brakes. If i bought my own tow vehicle i couldnt afford to build anything for it to tow!

i tow with a 98 ram 1500 that packs the 5.9L 360 V8

wow those 4.6's can't pull shit... once ur moving they r fine but getting there is a prob.. also hills suck... i got the same tow pig
