Ok, Airgas is pissing me off. First off they raise their prices on nitrogen a couple dollars and then they want to charge me because I am missing a cap. I told them fuckers that I always take the cap off the new one thay give me and put it on mine. But they said I can't do that anymore. So, I'm seriously thinking of switching to an engine driven compressor. I only want responses if you have them or had experience with them. But are engine driven compressors good for daily driving and what kind of problems would i run into having one. Basically, just give me the pros and cons to them. And also, where is a good place to get one

i ran a york for a year on my pickup. no problems, cheaper, just keep it oiled. i also ran it to 300 occasionaly just to get gansta with it

i ran a sanden on my suburban for about 6 months.....didnt like it. expensive to rebuild, not impressed, and i was only using it for backup, i had nitrogen as my primary air source. also had a friend with a sanden that didnt have too much luck.

personallly i like nitrogen but if you are not close to airgas or you like to play alot then i would consider the york. not the saden style.

I ran a york for quite awhile with no problems. and it came out of a 80's something volvo in a boneyard. If you take care of them they'll take care or you.
