Our paint prices start at $3,000, thats no disassembly, and not fixing any kind of damage. When we goto paint a car it usually finishes around $4,000-5,000 with disassembly and reassembly and fixing some minor damage. If your talking color change make that more like $8,000-10,000.

I don't do many completes, but I'm doing a '33 Ford kit car right now for $6K plus materials. For the time involved in making it "right", that's pretty cheap...

Damn looks like i got a deal then. Because not only did they do all the shaving and molding but they also fixed anything they ran across during the process which included putting a new rocker in my passenger side and completly reworking the section under my passenger tailight due to some shady work the previous owner got done. My dad had his 68' completely stripped down to the bare metal and dissasembled, painted pearl white with PAINTED (not stickers) jet black racing stripes and re-assembled for $4500

Wow... some insane prices. Madmods did my wife's Accord back in the day, fully shaved all 4 doors, rear bumper lights, pulled ALL dents (there was quite a few), shaved the hood squirters, and molded IS300 tails into the trunk for $5K... that included a complete color change as well as painted the dash bezel and A/C bezel... Guess times have changed!

mtmcalli,

That seem to be a deal of deals. GO for it. Depending on where you are located and what you want the price varies. On my old show truck I had a Ford dealership do the paint since I want factory colors both two tone. and some extra stuff like sub box, interior stuff etc.... and it ran me $1800 for a complete paint job and all the other stuff.

well the term "you get what you pay for" definately applies here. I had my truck fully painted, both doors shaved, tailgate shaved with handle moved to inside, and the smooth pan molded in for $3400 by a well respected shop here in ky. I have pictures in my profile

Hey man who in Kentucky painted your truck?

i got priced at 3500. full paint i live in minnesota. and that is for paint minor body work & yes since i did the shaving and mud work it is not warrantied. but that is the risk u run when doing body work your self. also this is a freind of a freind so the price is cushioned.
