ok, now i've got some big questions... did you flip the tie rod on your spindles? I had to on mine to get it to ride even halfway right, but it's still got a little bump steer too... any better solutions or is that just the way those work?

I wasn't planning on cutting the control arms w/ having the spindles, is that really needed? seems like everybody else on 22's was able to do it w/ just the 2" drop jdm control arms, so i figured that the 2" spindles would get me there just fine... but you tell me if i'm wrong please!!!

Now, on the computer shit... when you unplug it, do you need to have someone reprogram your keys and shit? and on the driver side, did yours have the 3 plugs too? are you saying you just moved the plugs inside or did you move that section up higher and then fill it in or what?

and sorry to jason for hijacking the rear end question w/ all this front end talk!

I JUST UNPLUGGED THE COMPUTER AND MOVED IT UNDER THE HOOD, AS FOR THE OTHER THREE PLUGS, I JUST EXTENDED THEM ABOUT A FOOT(WHICH WAS A PAIN IN THE ASS) AND PULLED THEM THRU THE FIREWALL IN ANOTHER SPOT AND THEN PLUGGED THE HOLE. THEN I JUST RECONNECTED THEM UNDER THE DASH. WORKED JUST FINE JUST A LIL TIME CONSUMING. -JASON N.GA.

i just cut about 1/2 inch out of the control arms and yes the problem with the drop spindles is that they didn't leave the tie rod location in the same spot.

no cutting the control arm is really need but my control arm hit the frame the same time the frame hit the ground so i notched them.

computer shit, you don't have to get anything reprogramed the only thing you lose is your preset radio stations. and yes on the driver side i just moved those 3 plugs to the inside of the fire wall it took me a total of about 1.5 hrs to move both. just unpugged them pulled them through the fire wall and cut out enough to fit the plug back on them and then just to be safe i plated the edges to hold it in (you can still see the top of the plugs but they are even with the fire wall)

I'm guessing that plating the edges thing will make more sense to me once I see the pictures of yours... can't beat 1.5 hours though!!! that's a ton better than what i was thinking it would need!

so did your tie rods have enough clearance after flipping them or did you still need to notch the frame for them too?

by plating the edge i mean just put a 1/2 inch piece all the way around it so it won't come back out but still allow the wires to go through. and yes i still had to notch for the tie rods
