anyone know the trick(s) 2 tuckin these 22 in alcoas thinkn bout narrown frame or suburban rotors and looks like i be needn 2 make some lower controlies , input is apriciated.tanks

Are you trying to tuck them in the front or rear?

tuckin front,gonna use suburban 3/4 ton rotors,which i see u guys do.just started makin stuff 4 control arms,mabe 1'' longer on the lower side. got a set of 305 40's think theyre 2 wide will i get more turn wuth a 285 40 ? its 1/2" shorter and 1" narrower. also i centerd the wheel when parked. i think when drooped out the wheels gonna hit front of wheel opening. also r u guys notchn frame for wheel clearance? am i better off usin ssquarebody front clip? i ask because i have one. also the newer trucks look much simpler . looks like a pain in the a%$ to get an 8-9" bag in there. thats why im considern a front end graph.i gut the heavy cummins goin in ,thats one of the reasons i want big bags. thanks in advance. i gutta figure out how to get pics goin. ohh... up the irons!

anybody got adropped lower arm that i can use for a template to make somethn off of ? im usin a 1" heim lower instead of ball joint. already drilled taper out of hole so now i'm commited .it will raise spinle 2.5 in up

Most all of these trucks will tuck the wheel in the front without any major modifications. Are you going to lay frame or body?

When we do put the 3/4 ton suspension under one we normally lengthen the control arms around 1" or less depending on the wheel/tire combo.

You can put an RE7(7-8" diameter) in the front with some trimming out on the spring pocket. These will be plenty big to pickup the motor.

thanks tor the info lockone,how much do your wheels roll out of center?looks kinda shitty on mine on the 17s it had,about 2 inches. i just dont like it.anyhow ,foolin whith sq. suburban front end .think im gonna make my own basd off this sq front end.i need an oversized mustang 2..looks much simpler than this 94 chassis.what yall think? also need frontal room for this cummins ac pump.really would rather not move it might pop outta hood,cummins kinda tall its real close in front even with cowl hood suggestions helpful,thanks again.one more thing,anyone knom where the diffrence in width comes from between srw and drw? is the axle cap longer or the axle tube?

My wheels may only be around 3/4 to 1" out of center and it is really only noticeable when layed out. You can see it in my signature at the bottom. It is not really that noticeable when in the air or driving.

thankyou lockone,when i started this project i didnt have a computer i see now it would have been way helpfull.i assisted on a body drop and at the time looked like a real pain.i guess all this stuff is a pain no matter what your doin.anyways i had streched the nose on this frame 7inches behind the cab and then cut 2 inches off nose and it centerd the wheel when parked and it looked great. since then i decided to go with these alcoas cause i got em cheap and had the diesel and figured i go for the whole "bigrig" thing.now i cant turn back nor do i want too.after the research i did on this forum i got alot of stuff figured out.the best one ive looked at.i guess if i didnt do something about the lower arms a bodydrop is necassary, probably less work in the long run. anyhow in process of complete front clip tankn pics and will get someone to help post em.im thinkn too many cuts in critical areas too do the cummins and the wheels but it sure helped with the firewall, a/c and brakes.also added cowl behind hood to the hood really cleans up windshield area gonna need to open hood backwards now but for a reason which will give mod a purpose. is anyone using 305 40s in front on these? can someone give me a duummyy lesson on how to get a picture going,make pretend your talking to a retard please,thankyou

tinypic.com (very easy) in seperate tab then where you want the pic to go.

you should have the pic you want in your computer

hit the "browse" button... that will take ya to your files in your comp.

find the pic you want and double click it... then hit the "upload" button

in a couple seconds it will give your 4 codes.

right click on the one that starts with "img" in it then hit "copy" in the little window that pops up

then go to your "duallyscene.com" thread and right click where you type your message and click the "paste" button in the window that pops up

then post or repeat for more pics
