Hey guys, names Ryan, I'm 23 from Baton Rouge, LA. I don't have a dually, but I have a 2003 GMC crew HD single wheel. Lucky for me I was born into the custom scene and my dad has a shop in New Orleans. I bought the truck from a friend of mine. It has been bagged since it had 2000 miles, now has 40k. Many of you may have seen it in StreetTrucks August, 2005. It was Pewter with Purple graphics. It has Air Ride Tech AirBarHD modified to lay out on 22's. The front is Air Ride Shockwaves with flipped ball joints, and tie rod relocaters. Layed on 20/22 Boyds. The truck had a troubled past as my friend sold it the 1st time. I tried to buy it but with college couldn't get the $$ together. This guy sold it to another guy who it got repoed from and my friend bought it back from the repo co. At this point it was rough. Boyds were bent, paint scratched, looking rough. He painted it Hod Rod Flatz flat black, and I sold him some 22's for it. And that's how I got it.
So far I pulled the bed and fully boxed the rear frame in 1/4 and plated over the original notch with 3/16. The original notch was a bolt on slip over style that was welded to the chassis. The front no longer lays on the 22's and with the shockwaves, I get no lift. Plans are to redo the front with RE-7's or RE-8's and build a gooseneck hitch for it. Then repaint it and rock it every chance I get.
