Well the plans for getting the Pontiac engine/trans fell apart lastnight. A friend of mine was going to pick it up for me as part of a trade we were working on, he called the kid that had them up and worked out a deal to buy them for $150 and then the next day, yesterday the kid calls the deal off and decides he wants $400 each. So My search for an engine other than a small block continues.

Well I got my chrome trim pieces for the bed on tuesday and I decided to go ahead and use the small block and 700 combo for now, at least until I can find something else I can afford.
