I been on here for a while, but didn't introduce myself. I'm Emmitt. I'm from Texas and I got a lowered 94 Chevy dually. I bought it lowered already from a guy in San Antonio. He bought it new in CA and his kids convinced him to drop it 4/6 and add helper bags in the back. My wife and I honestly didn't like duallies at the time, but when we saw this one, we loved it. It's nothing special and needs plenty of work, but it stands out from the usual trucks around here. We usually get stopped about 3 or 4 times a month by cops and border patrol...they all want to know the same thing..."why's your truck so low" .
I would also like to add that I have a brand new set of 16" Alcoa Classics(still in boxes) that I'd be willing to trade for someones used Alcoa[or similar]19.5's(in Texas though because shipping is expensive). The one's I have are identical to the ones you see in the pic of my truck, except they are brand new. Let me know if anybody is interested.
welcome ,from a fellow texas dually owner
Welcome!!
More Texans joinin' up...I'm tellin you guys, we're takin over!
Duallys are like the National Truck of Texas... actually that's the old Suburban marketing slogan, but if you're in Texas and you're not surrounded by duallies, well you're probably hanging out in Austin or something.

Thanks guys. Yeah, duallies are popping up everywhere down here now. I'm gonna do my best to set mine apart from the rest of'em down here in my area. So far I remeoved the chrome fender lip, added the lower valance, tinted the windows, and blacked out the lights. Our next plans are a cowl hood and some paint work(2 tone - same color and black). I really want some 19.5's, but I can't afford a new set right now.
