Layin out a civic

we notched the strut towers in order for the upper arms to clear when it's laid out,that got me another 3" or so

I had to notch the sub frame to almost get mine to lay out on 18's in the front I am also going to have to shorten the front spindles b/c my upper ball joint is binding against the spindle I have some pics on my profile of what i had cut first. in the back it will lay with just rebuilding new strut towers. Also there are drop spindles front and rear from ryane motorsports. theres a kid with a 92-95 coupe on here with them. i think his name is fatheadjames

i cutt my spindels today took maybe alittle more than 1.1/2inches off of it.it crazy either im trippin or somethin cuz my spindels are too different sizes.i should be getting a digi. cammea 2morrow i try to get some pics up of da civic.

^^It's not hard. Just cut like a half moon above the axle and weld in some tube cut in half and that's it really.

you do know the process to welding those back together right??

i looked at your pics. good work. but what are you using to lower your car? looks like you have cut out your strut towers

yeah either go with the hot method or the cold method.was really funny i never knew what the were made of and i had welded a plate on one side it it would'nt hit the cylinder and it came out perfect no crack or nuthin.

i looked at your pics. good work. but what are you using to lower your car? looks like you have cut out your strut towers

ya i am going to do a bracket on top of the upper control arms with reg bag on top. i saw an blue si on here with a setup like the one im building. hopefully i'll have more pics up in a week or two.
