When people get valves and dont use water traps etc and then their valves start sticking like the past eair valves did Jim, the owner of E Air took care of anyone that ever told him they had a problem. If you guys dont protect your systems with water traps, etc your crazy. Why invest so much into something and not invest a lil more for protection to keep your system clean? The new Mac Daddy valves from E Air are bad ass and the first valve designed for the air ride market. All other valves to my knowledge were brought over from the industrial market into the air ride market. Like i said before, ill talk to Jim and im sure it will get handled.

A few people i know bought E valves. 1/2 of them didnt work right out of the box. i dont see where a watertrap fits into that equation.I dont run traps, neither does too many people I know and our 3/8's SMCs have been fine for 3 years plus.
Seth,
I just got off the horn with Jim from E Air. The tank is designed for a few unique features. One being its a 200psi tank, another is it being low profile, and another is the spacing of the ports. They were spaced so you could put your valves on the tank without having to disassemble them. The powdercoat was just thrown on there to try and make them look a lil better. Due to shipping of these things, usually shipped 3 times at least once it gets to you, the customer, they tend to get scratched up. Most tanks come in a black primer to keep them from rusting. Jim told me to have you talk to where you got the tank and let them know about it and see what they could do for you.
Thanks Robbie. The spacing on the ports was the number one reason I bought the tank. I didn't mind paying an extra $5 for it. So, I'll probably just sand it and repaint it. I'd rather not strip it bare, because powdercoat is messy to get off. And Ricky @ SD.com said they all look like that, and thats basically it.
your welcome. i think he is gonna stop powdercoating them and just prime them. theres no way to really protect them during shipping from scratches and keep the cost down. no one would wanna pay an extra 25 for a tank i doubt.

yo, check your SMC valve, the typical valve sold to us are air/water capable. your valve should have flow rates and pressure ratings for liquid. get any valve strictly for air and put liquid through it and you will get identical problems eventually
That sucks about the shoddy powdercoat job. Back to E Air Valves... No disrespect to Jim or the other guys at E Air Valves, but while every valve is tested, the quality control wherever they make the manifolds, was at least bad at one point. I got 8 1/2" 250 PSI valves, and 7 of them had flaws in the orifice area. One of them had a burr so big that it probably blocked 20% of the air flow. These were easily removed with a Dremel but they were in plain sight when they were boxed at the factory, and someone should've cleaned them up a bit. They work great though.
both the 200 and 400 series valves have been discontinued. Jim from E Air has developed his own valves made to his specs called the Mac Daddy. So far everyone i know running them loves them. I agree there were many problems in the past with E Air valves but thats in the past. The Mac Daddy is a valve built for the air ride market and could be the best valve out. Time will tell as customers start to believe in the name and purchase them. I will be running them on my wagon and ive seen them in action. They are truely a kick ass valve.
just a question robbie. maybe you know maybe you dont, but i bought 10 e air 470 valves and seeing that they are discontinued if i do have any issues (dont know yet cause they arent installed but i've already deburred them in and out) would they be replaced bu the same valves i have or with new ones? i just need to know if i should unload these and get the new ones, i wanna support these guys the best i can just want to be sure my stuff works
ok.....its from SUICIDE DOORS....you arent satisfied.....so call them and tell them.dont bitch here. tkae care of it with them! jason will replace it if you arent happy. its that simple!
