Sorry about the truck. I hope everything works out for him. Myabe its time to bring back placing fire extinguishers some where in the cab. It might have helped especially if a few of the trucks had them.

toff, yea that does suck. the titanium was bolted to a bar under his gas tank to keep it from dragging, the titanium got so hot it melted the bar off and into the tank.there is no way a fire extingisher could have put that flame out.his buddie was in the passenger seat, and he showed me the vid.

wow those pics are puuurdy, great quality. but in all seriousness glad no one was hurt.
as far as insurance, why wouldnt they cover it? not like he's gonna tell them what happened and highly unlikely they scour truck sites looking for this info. he most likely wont get money for all the after market stuff on the truck, but it wont be a total loss cause he'll get money to buy a new ride.
