Stock Floor Frame Tubing Questions, Please.

I used 2x3x.25 on mine. and paid 60-75 for a 20 fter.

def use the 2x3, if you feel confident, you could use the 1/8" wall, but i use 3/16". i got a stick of 2x4 3/16" wall for 78 dollars like 3 weeks ago.

yeah check out his frame...looks sick for all bends welded...i want to get my rails bent but this guys welds are perfect

he's just saying not to complain about the price... we've gotta pay a lot more for metal up here. Don't get all worked up the guy is just trying to help, and he did bring up a good point about the exhaust being bigger than 2" anyways... as well as the verticle strength not being there.

I say if your gonna build a frame you may as well do 2x3... if your building something and worried about spending a little extra money then maybe just save up a bit more till ya can or something?

I'm using 2x3 in my mazda, i wouldn't trust 2x2 myself.

definitely go 2x3, 2x2 sucks balls.
