not talking shit, but whats teh big deal about 5 or 6 lug. maybe track width, but that still doesnt change overall tire/wheel diameter.

Good luck on pulling that off...it can be done with some tiny ass tires.

5 lug wheels suck the wheel in closer to engine more backspace. 6 lug rims have less backspace and sit farther away from the motor. My 22' have a 3 1/2 lip on them , but you know that.

I think the biggest deal with 6lug and 5lug is your selection of rim sizes and offsets.

5lug rims have a huge selection of high offset wheels smaller wheels 20 and under that you can buy from most manufactures including all the no name chrome wheels at every corner rim shop on the planet, because they are designed for the many 5lug cars that dont need wide rims and have to have high offsets, but when you get into the bigger wheels like 22+ the selection becomes limited in a 5 lug pattern.

Where as a 6 lug rim is a typical SUV or heavy truck rim, limited selection in high offset versions but a wide selection in the bigger rim sizes, with standard offsets.

lots of billet wheel companies will make any offset in a 22 with 6 lugs for the thugs.

maby not 22's i am looking for some one to hlep in a b/d? i am in houston texas and beer and food in one the weekend we do the work? any takers?
