Those big bus/rv's don't have airbrakes, that's why you don't need a cdl.

Most of my trucks have four wheel hydraulic disc brakes. I use whatever chassis I can find in the condition that I require. In Ky anybody can drive a big truck as long as you have "farm" tags. The last two I built are gassers, but I am always on the lookout for diesels. I have a 1988 Topkick in my shop waiting for me to start on it. It's a Cat 3208 turbo with a big Allison behind it. I also have a 1990 Topkick running a Cat 3116/Allison. When I'm those babys will be blowin plenty of smoke!

Great, finally found someone who lifted their dually! Ive got a 99 GMC 3500 crew cab long bed dually wit a 7.4L that i want to lift. I got plans on running the 22.5 semi wheels but not with LOW PROFILE tires...MY question to BIGASSTRUX (and anyone else on here) is do you know any companys that sell a lift kit for these trucks????? AND do you know what size tire i can go with with out lifting the truck?

If you are going to run the 22.5 wheels with a 255/70/22.5 tire (36.6" tall) you will have to lift it no matter what.
I believe that Tuff Country sells a 4" and an 8" for these trucks. A 4" should get you clearing the tires without any problem.

Thanks Lock. Seeing that you have a tire shop, how much would you charge for the adapters, wheels, and tires, and installion. PM sent
