p'up 2.3l performance?

what is there out there that will boost the performance of my 2.3 isuzu engine? its getting rebuilt as soon as i get 700 bucks together for new stuff... are calmini camshafts worth their price? dont say "drop in a small block v8" cuz i want to keep my 4 cyl. for gas for now, im 17 and i cant afford 40 a week to drive my mini

you can get a 38 weber carb and headers, i just got done with my motor, i cant wait till i can start it up for the first time
