slams vs firestones vs conitechs

I have the Airlift 2b7 (2600) on the front and rear of mine. Only takes like 70 pounds to lift the front off the ground.

Thats what I love about airlift and why were still using them; and like I said they sent a new bag no questions

hey john you should have just asked me at work i would have told you at work that SLAMS are the best!!!! i have had all 3 brands on my blazer firestone& conti tech & now slams....with 2" spind. and airride uppers and lowers...SLAMS,SLAMS,SLAMS,SLAMS is the way to go....rember mine is to the door.....

I use a lot of air lift, but this winter one of them went BOOM and didn't know wtf happenned so got out and the damn bag had separated around the bottom crimp. sent me a new one no questions asked but still a pain. Also has anyone put 2600s on the front of a dime?

how about stroke and ride quality. i have slam 72's in front of my truck, my buddy has coni 7's in the front of his, we are both s10's and i get 2-3 more inches of lift and rideing with out shocks his bounces like 6-8 times on a bump while i bounce 2-3 times on the same bump. i stand by slam over any bag. and coni is my second chioce. but they dont get near the lift as a slam bag.man thats weird a couple s10s that we built dont use shocks because the ride is good enough with out them, one runs conti 4ply and one runs slam, the 4ply outrides the conti and the salm gets about aan inch more of lift in rear, i forgot this forum was about lift, but all you need is a 1/4 inch anyway. lift is over rated

the numbers say it all

I like my cocntitech 2600s they get good lift, ride nice and compress flatter then the slams did. A positive to the slams tho is they get an inch of extra lift and are narrower at the same time which is good if your tight for space. If i were you i would definately run a 2600lb bag in the front because it will get you off the ground faster.

i used conitech 2500 up front on my s10 then i switched to the slams he8 up front and that bitch lifts and still lays out. great bags had to order some for the rear.
