firestone 2500 wont lift your truck any less then a slam RE 7 will. Everyone bag will max the front suspension out on an s10

wrong

Hmm, 2 different friends trucks, both bodydropped the same 3.5", both rolling 235/35/20 tires.. 1 has ART arms with stone 2500's.. the other, BYC arms with Slam RS72's. They BOTH get the SAME lift, just the slam bag gets there at around 85-90 psi, unlike the stone that takes over 125. They both barely untuck the tire.

I use the Slam RS-72 on the front, they have changed that model # to an RE-7 I think. go to www.slamspecialties.com and they have a full chart to compare the bags and the lift they get.

I use a lot of air lift, but this winter one of them went BOOM and didn't know wtf happenned so got out and the damn bag had separated around the bottom crimp. sent me a new one no questions asked but still a pain. Also has anyone put 2600s on the front of a dime?

the slam re 6 or 7 would be kickass, the 7 is like installing a firestone 2600lb bag, cept you get 3" more stroke. and for the guy talkin about airlift bags, unlike slam which has 0 ballooning, they do expand, and do not have near the stroke of a slam. www.gravity-werx.com

oh yea, forgot to add a reference to chuck norris,

slams vs firestones vs contitech

thats like chuck norris vs harrelson ford vs the kid who played in karate kid, sure harrelson ford can put up a good fight, but hes no match to the severe roundhouse kick to the face, and the kid from karate kid would just be obliterated by the presence of a chuck norris workout video.

im going with conti tech, slam has yet to show me what is so much better about their bag, and why the cost is so much more, i just dont see a difference worth the extra money, its not about being cheap but i think they are over rated

I have the Airlift 2b7 (2600) on the front and rear of mine. Only takes like 70 pounds to lift the front off the ground.

how about stroke and ride quality. i have slam 72's in front of my truck, my buddy has coni 7's in the front of his, we are both s10's and i get 2-3 more inches of lift and rideing with out shocks his bounces like 6-8 times on a bump while i bounce 2-3 times on the same bump. i stand by slam over any bag. and coni is my second chioce. but they dont get near the lift as a slam bag.
