???? Bending Tubing ????
Thanks mtmcalli,be looking for somein like that
its a lot more then just giving you an answer theres alot of variables go into bending tube exactly alot is trail and error. thats why some many shops im include have mis-bend piles
is there an operation equation you use ^^^^^??,or is it just mark and cut
the 1's like from harbour freight, the inverted 1 tons
You need the radius of the dies to calculate it on paper. The other problem with the HF benders is that it pushes the pipe up in the middle and draws both sides in. With tube benders it holds one side solid and rolls the bend out. This allows you to mark the fixed end of the tube and anticipate the distance to the outside of the 90 bend. If your concerned about being precise get a better bender. I think it will be hit or miss with the HF style bender or at least alot of waste till you get good at eyeballin with it.
