Hey all,

Jay here and I'm new to this site. I bought my dream truck back in January. It's a 89 C3500 with the BB in nit. I purchased it from a hotrod shop down in Portland Oregon and drove it back north to it's new home in Whidbey Island. All went well with the trip, it was just when it had been home for a week or two, I started a avalanche in the engine that seemed to never end. Started with light smoke, led to broken pushrod, then ended up replacing the ignition, dizzy, put headers on it, new water pump, lapped valves, and three weeks of headache. But after alot of blood sweat and "tears" all is well and am looking forward to it's future.
It's already on bags in the rear, would like them all around, plus would like them on a resevoir for faster dumps and pumps. Would like to get a later model front grill/lights, and eventually put a four link in the rear. It needs a tranny rebuild, but I'm looking to put more ponies under the hood and want to put a beefier tranny/rear end in it, but don't even know where to start on this combo.
Anyway, glad to be here, I will post pics this weekend, until then, keep the shiny side up, and be safe.
