Rear Bag Setup

To any of you who have ever had your bags mounted behind the axle: How does the truck ride with this setup? And about how much lift do you get? Thanx

lift is going to depend on how far behind the axle you mount your bags.

you mean with the mounts on the axle, just behind it? its still hardmounted to the axle, so lift is the same.

lift would be less because its further away from the pivot point on thr front of the links. its not like it would be a huge deal tho prolly just a inch or so.

depends on how you set it up. You can have the same lift with no problem just measure.

same lift as over axle....not true. big joe is exactly right. as far as the ride goes, a little stiffer than over axle.

LOL, where's Dave (Avtekk)? I made the same wrong assumption of what the guy is asking before. Chris is right.

well he never said if he was runing a forward or reverse link. so we really ain't got enough info to give a good answer.

That's true. Or if he is welding the mounts to the axle or the links like I assumed in another post and then Dave ripped my ass open.

Come to think about it, I asked for forgiveness and he never answered....this post has opened old wounds that Im not sure Im going to be able to heal.
