i had one in my old B2200. I like it because it was soooooo damn clear, and just looked bad ass. But, windy weather sucks, it bows it in and could crack it easily, and once its scratched, thats it...cant fix it easily.
I would deff want a custom made glass one, it would look much better.......but lexan is cheep, and also looks good.

found it, dale king at kings auto glass 45 years experience 423-587-5464. two more things i have never used this guy but he talks a good game. the guy in conneticut i have used and he has 30 years experience. the other thing is you need to use new glass when cutting it. do not try to use old glass they have alot more problems with it and most guys wont even try a used glass. the guy in winston salem who did it for me charged $20 labor but i had to by 2 windshields at %275 a piece each time. as for the guy in conneticut he charged $60 hourly.
who was the guy in CT?
if you will read the post about the one you qouted you will see the answer. not to be an ass i just dont feel like retyping all that.
not to mention you wouldnt want your buddies draggin around one night and totally eff upi your lexan windshield.
also, cutting side windows out of windsheilds is a pretty badass idea. i know to have custom tempered side glass for chop tops run pretty friggin high.
you could also use a good sandblaster to cut windshields
theres a guy who is in jersey that makes windshields not cuts em its the guy who does windshields that are going into hot ass rods like up for the ridler and shit. youll pay between 3 and 8 thousand for a windshield. cause we are minitruckers and notorious for doing things cheap you can get away with having a guy cut your glass but your proportions will be out the black at the top will be shorter than its supose to (nobody gives a shit about that) dont use lexan its cheap and the windshield equivilent of running pathfinder rims
dang thats to much money 3-8 thousand for a windshiled, id just get a pair of snow goggles or some shyt lol, but i was thinking incase i cant find someone to do it local or anything, how much trouble is in slanting it back like some hotroders do, u just v the post base's and pull back weld up right? i mean more than that but thats bout it though? would that be cool or not? i'm not building it for others, but i just want it to look decent and not like some 3 year olds science project that happens to fail 50 times in a row haha

sparks damage normal glass windshields as well
dale king is the guy in pigeon forge. like pancaked said about the custom made glass the other problem with that is you need a sheetmetal or aluminum template shape and all. so you have to make a piece rigid metal that will fit the hole perfect then do all that. sorry to confuse people. i stay confused.
