1.)vinyl decals2.)lambo doors3.)neon lights4.)fart can exhausts5.)wings on vehicles other then F1 race cars6.)ashesive trim pieces(stick on hood scoops, ventvisors etc...)7.)body kits8.)wire rims9.)hacked suspensions10.)APC interior accessories(fire extinguishers, racing seats, 5 point harnesses, yada yada)11.)excessive use of red, blue, white, yellow...and any other color wire loom that can be found at autozone.
thats all i could think of...
not trying to hate just stating what i see.
you forgot one joe...
big kids in dodge rams.
Its a fad, don't worry it will all go away,lol...
I have been going to shows as long as i can remember (all types of shows: classics, customs, minis, and wherever else you can think of), and working my a shop building classics and customs for around the last 10 years or so. And i doesnt matter whose s10 it is, if its not bagged or body droped, or has a v8 in it, i will walk right past it at any show and day of the week. Ive been into the automotive scene for too long to look at something someone put a grand in bolt on parts, and wants to call it a show car. Thats not saying anything about you a person, just saying we have differing opinions on what a "show vehicle" is made up of.
thanks for the info guys it has helped I am kind of new to this scene and was needing info
Dude, those old guys at most local shows will look down on anything "NEW", and that includes anything thats not for example a 1969 dodge charger. You need to just ignore there crap and keep going because wether they like it or not we are the future. we are the ones who will be going to shows in 25 years when they aren't.
