Looked down upon ?

I own a 2000 S-10 Xtreme and was just wondering if you are looked down upon at car shows if your ride isnt bagged or laying frame.:chevy:

No but yellow wire loom doesn't help.

i dont think youd be looked down upon,if your goin fortrophies and all that you might wanna consider bags, but i think you should build your truck the way you like it, there will be some people who will talk shit but let them BUILD IT FOR YOU

depends on the show you go to. Here where I live - local shows SUCK in my opinion. Only b/c a truck that has 1000's of painstaking hours in it and is bagged or bodydropped, would score poorly with the judges (they use the mirror to look 'under' trucks... if its laid out and they walk by your screwed lol) but a Truck like you got there would take home trophies all day long over magazine quality 'laid out' minitrucks As far as hating or looking down on among your peers... probably so! But thats the sad nature of this scene - there will always be people who have to be negative. Just remember to build it for you and not them. mike

i would say that your truck wouldn't be looked at as seriously as one with air ride or hyraulic suspension based on the amount of work or money it takes to have it.
it's another level of modification, most trucks will have rims,paint,tint and little chrome here and there, but once you have adjustable suspension you move to a new catagory.body work moves you into another level aswell, whether it's shaved door handles or a body drop, just another item to add to the list of mods.
this is all just my opinion of corse.

stickers, wire loom, and vent visors. id have to guess you'd be looked down upon at a major show. anytime 80% of ur stuff can be purchased at auto zone ur prolly gonna be looked down upon.

Not looked down upon, just not looked at that long and people might miss a lot of the details you've put into it. All I saw was an x-treme, didn't even notice the seats.

listen... i dont care what anyone else says at all... sure im bagged and body dropped and i have other cars to play around with.. im knee deep in this crap.... the thing is... it all depends what you are going for... man you could get respect in areas that we cant.... we can get respect in areas that you cant.... same with ANYONE .... bottom line.. build the truck the way you want it to be... not the way you tihnk will be coolest... hell if i was building mine the way i thought people would think was coolest i would have put lambo doors on a long time ago then realized im an idiot because infact they suck. just build it for you. not anyone else and dont worry about being looked down on.... everyone in everypart of life is looked down on for something... thats why people suck as humans.
