its cheaper to widen the fenders but better to narrow the rearend or alot of time you can find a c&c rearend for a very reasonable price. thanks for the compliments on the old truck.

Since everybody is being so helpfull in this thread I think I will ask my other noob question here also. I don't want to be one of those noobs that starts thread after thread over stuff that has already been covered.

In the front, all I want is for the truck to lay flat on the crossmember. I don't want to Z the frame or section the cross member. I know about all the usual stuff that needs to be cut/removed, my question is regarding the suspension. I think I have read you don't need spindle's to do this but I will run 3in. spindles regardless. I remember reading you don't need to run 3/4t spindles unless you are bodydropped and that they pull the wheels in too much. Some guys fix this buy making some longer control arms. I do not want to make longer control arms. By sucking the wheels in too much do yall mean that it looks bad or do the tires rub into something while turning? I have also read about recessing the bags into the control arm. How much does the bag need to be recessed to lay crossmember on 24's? Basically, I just want as simple a bag job as possible that will allow me to lay crossmember on 24's.

you should be able to get it to lay crossmember with z anything. i know you can on 22's but 24's?

with my sfbd.. front is having to be z'd almost 4"

I already looked at the thread with his truck in it. But, all I see are pics and info on the rear setup. What I'm not sure about is the front end.
