New Texan member with two Dually's

I have been a long time lurker and squarebody fan. So, I finally bought myself a clean squarebody and decided to register. The body is straight and it has a nice interior. It's also got a 454 which I might swap out for a small block. First thing I want to do is go through the whole truck maintenance wise to try to make it as reliable as possible and doing some minor cosmetic bolt-ons. After that I want to lay it out on 24's.

great looking duallys . i had a twin to the red one. it was stolen back in 2005, found in alabama, with the drive train missing, and burned. i think it was somebody that knew the truck, it had a detuned racing motor in it. ( 434 LS-1 block ). anyway, i have a white one now, nothing fancy. good luck with yours. Art

Thanks, guys. I will try to do as much reasearch as possible as far as laying the truck out but, I'm sure I will still ask some of the usual newbie questions.

For starters, I want to run 24's all around and was wondering if the townasty's were only made in 22's? I want to avoid narrowing the rear or swapping it out for a C&C rear. Does anybody make any widened fenders for the squarebody's?

the townastys only come in the 22's and I dont think any one is making a wider fender yet but I could be wrong lilj is the wide fender guy

NOPE noone makes them for the squares..

Running 16's on the inside and 24's on the outside will give me problems with the tire hitting the fenders correct? What is cheaper, having the rear end narrowed or having the stock fenders widened? I have seen plenty of shitboxes with widened fenders but don't recall ever seeing any squarebody's with widened fenders. I love the wide look of your old dually lilj:
