Should the pinch weld be bent over or cut down on a body drop to really lay rocker or do most people just lay on the pinch? Maybe its just a preference thing? If you prefer to lay on the rocker then whats the best way to get rid of the pinch weld? Maybe just bodydrop down past and the pinch off
definitely ditch the pinch! works but it might be better to roll it so you get a more precise BD
ditch it, i useually relief cut the pinch every 6 inches or so and roll it back towards the frame. keeps the rocker from trying to seperate if you dont cut it completely off.
yeah roll ir or fab/cut it off, draggin it could catch a snag in the road, and really fuck the rockers up
i can't see if he has pinch or not but it can/is possible to do this with pinchand this is a good looking mazda

for the cab part anyway,i think he railed over a midget ,lol
Alright then thanks for the quick answers. I think I will just relief cut it and bend it over which sounds the easiest.
Probably easy enough just to roll it with a soft mallet. If you cut it off, you would have to weld it back up. And overhead welding can be a bitch, especially on thin stuff.
I like to score the back of the pinch then bend it over...Don't just cut it off,its where the rockers, quarter panel and your floor are welded together...
what the fffffff happened to that truck above^^^^^^^^^^^.
