anyone ever tried one one of these benders?

hey pissy,where can you get DOM here around the Tri-cities?

how was it that you did that setup,didn't it kink any of you tubing,what kind of tubing did you use,what kind of bag cups did you use,man i admire your work seen alot of it,first time i seen it was on the ranger that the setup was painted green,that was pretty wicked

I use one of those for 1" and 3/4" schedule 80 tubing and it works fine. Just can't get really tight bends.

I used that style bender for this set-up. 1.25" 1/8 wall DOM. It works OK for minor bends. I capped the ends and filled the tubing with sand on all the pieces as well.

the problem is that bender is a pipe bender, tubing and pipe have different OD tolerances. so when you put a piece of tubing in there, its sloppy which causes the sides to move outwards and the tubing will flatten. if you have a heavy wall, ya it should work for small bends, but with the price of DOM these days, 1/4" wall is a hell of a price to pay..

so just cap the ends off,with sand in them and they'll make small bends?hey iLL,what kind of bag cup did you use in the photot?
