Hi
I'm Remco live in the netherlands and am driving US cars now for about 15 years
I just got myself a early x-mass present A 1979 chevy dually

I also have a 32 ft airstream trailer
I ques that the chevy won't have a problem towing this.

The chevy only needs some cosmetic work , sunvisor , runningboard and mayby a 4 inch drop.

I'm sure I will post some questions while working on the chevy.

I don't have a big problem with our small roads.
The truck is a bit big to drive around here but I already have a good(loud) set of hadley horns
move over or be prepared to be run over

The other car is a 1957 imperial.
It was my daily driver for about 5 years.
I blew the engine and am now building a blown motor for it.
You all know how things like this goes.
After only 50 years the good old 392 hemi gave up.
So the new parts need to be a bit stronger but with better parts you can also fit a 6-71 supercharger.
But with a supercharger you realy need 4 bold main's cast pistons etc etc.
now we can make some power, well thats to simple with more power you can't do without a 4 link rear big a$$ brakes updated strearing and more.
But wait a sec with all those upgrades I could handle more power.
For more power you can raise the boost but than you need high octane fuel.
Well I'm lucky most of the gas stations overhere sells 110 octane fuel and @ less than half the price of regular gas its called LPG ( propane)
So now I have a 392 hemi with a 6_71 a set of carbs and on top of that a set of OHG mixers. I need a F#$%#$ng periscope to look over this setup.
So propane injection is the way to go.
But that asks for a programable ECU from megasquirt.
With the megasquirt I can also control a modern trans so I realy could not do without a 4L80E.
But with a beffed up 4L80E I can handle more power.
I gues I need some sesions on a couch to talk about it.
