Mine is the same part Number AF40-NO4-Z and the IN port it has a Cylinder lookin deal, and on the OUT port it has a brass looking threaded rod. So that is the way it should be, right?

Is yours a "AF40-NO4-Z "

or a "AFM40-NO4-Z " The wrong model has a 'M' after the 'AF'

Thanks.

Like I said: AF40-NO4-Z

so just to double check. Mine says AFM40-NO4-Z. This is the wrong one and needs to be flipped. and as it says, the easy fix is to flip the trap so that the in port becomes the out port and the out port becomes the in port???

ok It looks like the Model

AF40-NO4-Z - is Correct and the

AFM40-NO4-Z - is the reverse one.

The model number can be found on the side of the filter.

And correct to fix it all you do is spin it around so the arrow on top faces reverse. and your line comming from the compressor goes into the OUT port.
