Towing with a 4.3 won't be too bad, if you're not in a hurry to get anywhere. Also the first time you hit a hill, you'll be cursing the day you bought that truck. Hope you live and travel around in a flatland area!

i don't know about the new trucks but at work i drive a 97 chevy fullsize with a 4.3 the power will surprise you and it will get 20 mpg around town it will pull a triler for sure just dont use overdrive

hard to find a v8 with low miles for the price i wanna spend...thats extended cab..
