someone said that they don't make shit for dakota's. that's all the more reason to do it! If "they" don't make it, then you can.
C U S T O M.

Check out my Dakota @ our club's website, or here on StreetSource.
- or - you could just buy mine.

YEAH THANKS BLITCH. YOURE ONE TO TALK ABOUT NOT FINISHING SOMETHING. (LOL)

I LOVE MY DAKOTA. I GUESS THATS WHY IM STILL WORKING ON IT. IT WENT FROM A SIMPLE BAG JOB (WHICH WAS SHOTTY WORK) AND PAINT TO FULL BLOWN CRAZY. (AND I KICK MYSELF FOR IT EVERYTIME I WORK ON IT) THE FRONT IS SIMPLE TO BAG. ITS JUST LIKE AN S10 UPPER AND LOWER CUPS. NOTCH THE FRAME FOR THE TIE ROD ENDS AND YOU MIGHT HAVE TO NOTCH FOR THE LOWER CONTROL ARM MOUNTS TO TRAVEL UP WHEN ITS DOWN. I CANT REMEMBER IF I HAD TO WHEN I HAD THE 17'S ON IT, I DONT THINK I DID. WHEN I SET IT UP FOR THE 20'S I HAD TO.

YOU'LL HAVE TO NOTCH THE FRAME IN THE REAR. DEPENDING ON HOW YOU BAG THE REAR MIGHT ONLY HAVE TO PUT A SMALL C-NOTCH IN THE FRAME. MONSTER NOTCH ISNT NECESSARY IF YOU KEEP THE BAGS OFF THE TOP OF THE AXLE.

BE SURE TO CHECK THE FIRE WALL FOR TIRE CLEARANCE. THE MAIN WIRING HARNESS IS ON THE DRIVERS SIDE AND IT MIGHT GET CLOSE TO THE TIRE WITH THE 18'S. IF YOU NEED ANYMORE IN HIT ME UP. ILL DO MY BEST TO HELP YOU OUT.

YEAH BLITCH I DO PLAN ON FINISHING THE TERD IF I CAN FIND A BODYMAN THAT WONT GIVE ME THE SHAFT. 3RD BED, 2 SETS OF DOORS, GOT TO PUT THE 2ND CAB ON UHHH WHAT ELSE.......

i plan to do a dakota myself. if your good at fabrication they dont seem anymore expensive to do than an s-10. i got a beater 95 dakota right now and it looks like an easy stock floor body drop candidate. but if your running big rwd wheels your gonna have to get the rearend housing shortened on each side to clear the quarters. do the dakota and be original.

i plan on cutting into mine after the first of the year. i just have two questions to lay it flat out does it need to be Z'd at all

and then a fuel cell is it better just to get on made and use the factory garbage then anything else....just cuz others have said that for some reason fuel cells dont work out so well with the dakota
