I wanna say the ford courier rear end is narrower by 2 or 3 inches on each side, those trucks had 4 speeds so with a 5th gear on the mazdas, it should be alright on the freeway

a couple people have told me a mazda sundowner rearend should work perfect so I'm going to search the junkyards this weekend. Heres a couple of pics of the front they barely clear but they clear.
