i was just wondering because ive heard of motorcycle tanks rusting out from the inside and with moisture and condensation in gas nowadays you can go wrong with spending an extra 50 on your newly built tank. What thickness of metal do you typically use in the metal tanks 18g or 16g?
We dont use either!! We use 14Ga and they are double welded. One weld inside and one outside then smooth ground. Now that is done on all the sides except the top. I know you will be happy with our cells. Good luck

i have an rci aluminum cell but i might make some for my buddies so i was just getting ideas. I can get the metal bent up so the amount of welds are minimal.
