I have a 99 2wd Suburban on stock wheels. I've looked around and can't find any information on being able to do a 5/7 drop on stock wheels.
I'm really only worried about the front. I have a set of 2 inch drop spindles off of a 2000 Tahoe Limited and a set of 3 inch Ground Force springs.
Will the spindles work with the stock 15 inch wheel? This isn't my 'burb but has the same wheels.

you have to notch the lower control arm for the wheels but it will work.

Thanks guys, that helps a lot. I wouldn't want to get everything in and then find out it won't work.
I like the height on the red truck. Eventually I will bag and bodydrop it but I have another car (not the wagon) that I trailer and I need to be able to use it as a tow rig for a while.

most fullsize drop spindle ads i see in magazines have a caption that say must be used with a 17" wheel or larger. But I guess thats just if you dont want to do any modifications.

That is why I was wondering. I knew I'd seen a couple trucks that I thought had spindles with stock wheels, but I wasn't sure.

here is my 92 c/k 1500 with a 5/7 and 15's i didn't have to notch the control arms, but that may just be because of the wheels i have.
