IF did the chop on my toy kind of both ways, it is layed back pillars but the class is cut down 2 inches, and whoever said it was hard to cut glass never tried or paid 250 to get it cut.

ive tried....multipule times....and i also know ALOT of ppl on this site have tried multipule times, its not easy to get a clean jagged free cut, if you can, then your a better man than i am. lol and there deffinentally isnt a shop around here that would cut it for 250$ i had a guy quote me 475$ plus the cost of the windshield, to possibly beable to cut it, and if it didnt work out, i still had to pay for the windshield.....and they were 75+ miles away...
i really like how your chop turned out....i compliments the vhicle perfectly.

Well.. if you know your doing the motor swap you could start the Firewall.. Why wait a year? But I like lowering the entire roof cause it keeps factory angles!! Just my opinion!

I just dont want to start on the firewall without knowing how much room the 350 will take up in thare.....i would hate to make a cut and slide that windshield down, reconstruct the firewall, and come to find otu that the part that i cut for the windshield to slide down had to be taken out to make room for the motor......
idk what to do yet, im gonna get the glass pulled tommorrow and see how far i auctually can slide it down...., if i can get 3" out of it, im gonna do it that way.

There was an article in Street Trucks a while ago with IF chopping the top on xcab s10. Looked real good the way they did it and didnt have to have glass cut.
