i am not understanding everyone saying to quit posting because it takes time for him to read it. thats bs. he doesnt have to read this and like he said he is doing it when he is not at work. but there are so many people on here that are pissed off that when something is said everyone reminds him that he has shit they need. its not a bandwagon issue. everyone is pissed off at him because of either money or parts that he has and they dont. this is the first time i have posted about this ever and im not bitching just tired of seeing it

ive already said i support Mike and still do, i just wish i had the motivation and work ethic to start a business like he did. The hole reason i started getting into the whole minitruckin thing is because, where supposed to have each others back and have that kind of family mentality, but everybody so irate about money and other bullshit. And i have to say that if i lived even remotly close to Mike i would help the guy out if i could. i mean come on building trucks is suppose to be fun, dont go gettin stressed out over shit, it defeats the purpose of bein a true minitrucker

I agree with Ricky, irrelavent post. You guys dont get it. He has told people their stuff is ready, or there stuff has shipped, or it will ship next week or this friday, etc, etc. And it hasnt or doesnt! Thats all. And it goes on for months and months. It would be one thing if he said up front that it would take 4 months, but he doesnt. He tells you it will take 4 weeks (what he told me back in June or July). I've heard of people on here recieving their Mazda stuff, and I'm pretty sure I heard of someone here recieving their Toyota stuff, but I havent recieved anything. I ordered Toyotas, Nissans, and Mazdas 4 months ago. I've been told more than a few times that they were shipping, or that part of the order was done would ship, or that he would ship me parts as they were done. My order would be top priority because I was being patient. I did get an e-mail from Mike finally on Friday,Dec 2 saying he had Toyota arms that he could send me. I'll let you know how that goes.

I might be time to hire another guy to do order processing while you concentrate on making arms. Don't a diss, just friendly advice from an outsider.

Obviously he is trying as he posts with as much info as possible when he can. By hounding him on here and him having to take time to answer questions in these stupid threads takes time away from him catching up on getting arms done. everyone will get their parts or their money, if I was gonna screw people I would have shut the shop down long ago and split.
im not that way, Im broke and still building parts all day every day till I catch up.
Jaymoneydubs, your just plain wrong. the only thing ive spent money on is parts and materials. the only reason im behind is I did have to spend money on 2 welders and 2 compressors. emergency purchases basically.
so you guys can guess, speculate, incinuate, or just plain say false shit, it doesnt matter. all you need to know if you are a customer, past customer or future customer is the following:
1.we are shipping at least double the number of orders that come in every week, sometimes three or four times as many, because every dime that comes in buys more materials to build more parts.
2.we have downsized the shop,less stalls saves about 250 a month Ive moved into a smaller house, saves another 250 a month.
3. I drive a 97 paid for Escort, used to have a truck that had a payment.
4. my wife got a second job. nuff said
5. I got rid of all my paid help. saves who knows how much. (my dad is about to come back to help)
6. Ive redesigned every part to make them faster and easier to build, while at the same time made them look better, fit better and function better. less money spent on laser cut parts and now we use many of the screw in race car type balljoints.
7. we have all the equipment in our shop now paid for. no notes on anything. the only things we will need in the future are a better bender and a small lathe. both will wait until we are caught up.
8. we dont take orders that we cant fill in 4 weeks or less. we have also started building 4 links in our "spare time" like we have any of that, but im now working 7 days a week.
9. we will do COD, then theres no question of whether you will get your parts or not.
10. every person that knows me personally has told you guys over and over that I WILL GET YOU YOUR PARTS. this should tell you all you need to know. email me here on im, or at Mike@builtbybyc.com or builtbybyc@aol.com

we are not going anywhere, BYC is in the custom truck scene to stay no matter what, simple as that, Ive been a minitrucker since 1988, and a custom truck guy since 1984, and building or helping build custom stuff or race cars since sometime in the 70s in my dads shop or garage. this should tell you something as well.
I have a CDL and could go get a 60 to 100 grand a year job driving a truck right now, but Id rather build parts. I have a job thats also my hobby, theres no question to me what I am gonna do or should be doing....
