I've been attending the show for several years as well, but after last year I'm pretty pissed about the situation. Does anyone know who the announcer is that's always there? He fuckin threw a fit because I drove through the grass part of it that everyone else was in, not knowing that I was doing something wrong comes up cussing fuck this fuck that go the fuck home if u don't want to go the other way. I just told him to chill the fuck out and didn't realize I was doing anything wrong. Just curious to know who he is because the way he represented himself made him look like a tool. As much as I love being at the show I'm not gonna be there next year.

ya, the announcer was from Special Events i believe. he was pretty annoying like normal. but if your speakin of DJ Kidd Kutt, he's a dick, always has been. so if it was him, just get over it cause it wasn't the first time his names been the topic of conversation about being a total asshole. but no one should be yelling at you for cutting through the grass, i could see em coming up and saying something, but be professional about it and do it calmly.

I noticed there was at least 2x the space over on the east side of the dragstrip when we went over for the lowlife/streetrucks shoots. What does it take to have the show over there?

I personally think the spectator fee needs to come down some. If I'm not mistaken, it would have been cheaper to preregister my moms minivan in the show with a friend paying half than 2 spectators paying their spectator fees. Not to mention I wouldn't have mind driving a hoopty in the show then walk the couple miles we did from parking. So for those complaining about seeing stocks at the show, keep what I said in mind. Im hoping for 2006 that the gas prices aren't at 3 bucks a gallon and my truck is showable! Just my pennies for thoughts.

I was on the other side of the track with Brandt Fuqua and his Frontier for the feature shoot, and I do agree that the other side of the track probably is a little bigger, or it just seems bigger cuz there are no buildings cluttered together....

I think by 2007 we will have to move to a bigger location somewhere or the other side of the track opened as well........

Guys, you know what the main problem we've had with traffic and crowds at the show? It seems no matter what we do, EVERYONE wants to be in the inside loop. I wonder if expanding around the other side won't make that worse... I noticed at some other shows I've been to, that vendors are more scattered around, and it seems to make people want to spread out more. It seems with our show, when we expanded to the side, and opened up that new lot in front of the showers, we had to force people to fill it up, because they still want to crowd into the infield loop. It confuses me that people would prefer to get in traffic like that and crowds like that, rather than park in a less congested area and have a much more laid back weekend :?

On the "clubs only" for a certain area...we've been trying that for two years now, and it boils down to the fact that every club wants something different, and I try to do what you guys want. If a club tells me they want to be in a certain area, I tell them okay, but "police" yourselves and your area, and most everyone I talk to is really cool with that, but they all don't want to be in the same area...some want the infield, some want the outside ring, Twisted wanted the corner this year, Camber was along the fence... I'm not sure everyone would agree with herding all the clubs in one lot.

I know people are going to disagree with me but this is just my opinion. I agree that stock vehicles need to be kept out of the show because it just clogs things up and dilutes the quality but I would like it taken a step further. Keep out anyone that doesnt have anything worth looking at in general. Nobody cares about a bagged S-10 with a reverse 4-link or some shit setup and nothing else. It's a stock truck bagged. Who cares. To me this is just as bad as stock vehicles. I dunno, maybe I'm being harsh but i would rather quality than quantity.

Note: I'm not picking on S-10's. I own one!

so now you just lost 90% of the show clientel.

Maybe you should just stick to reading a magazine.

I thought there was a lot of quality rides at ITB. 90% is a bit extreme. However I do think there are a lot of barely modded rides that entered for the same reason stock vehicles did... because it was cheaper. I dunno, as a spectator I hate walking thru a huge field of cars trying weed out the stock barely modded vehicles. I want to see quality not something I see driving around town everyday.
