I think when someone registers for a show, and they drive though the entrance, if they have a stock ride, don't let them in.

I realize that's a hassle, but it will keep those 400000 people who signed up to get 2 in the show for the price of 1, all weekend, it sucks.

Also, perhaps you could make isles.

If you ropped off some sections along the infield and people were less "Scattered" it would allow for better viewing of those trucks on the infield. The way it's set up now, so many people want to be on the outside circle because thats where you get "Saw". if you're in the middle clusterfuck of the lawn, people randomly walk around, not getting much in the way of guidance for it... you know what i mean?

people are like sheep, they need someone to heard them and point them in a direction.

So just throw up a few ropes, and give the infield isles. I think that would help a TON, so you don't get every tom dick and hary parked as fucked up as you can get all over...
plus it will make it easier to figure out what you've already looked at as you walk up and down these isles.

Eh?

Jey, we actually had ropes marking off lanes to get into the infield, but we don't make parking lanes, because we can never be too sure who's gonna have tents, bbq's, and whatnot. Our club parking guys try to keep people in lanes, but when they walk away, we find that people just move around and do what they want. I actually thought the Stock vehicle problem wasn't as bad as year's past, and our parking guys were instructed to try and keep stock vehicles on the outside of the "loop field", but there's always clubs that have their stuff in a beater that need to carry it in, and we understand that too.

HotShot- We've got a meeting this Saturday night, and it's even on the Eastside, but we most likely won't have time to get into ITB at this one. I'll let you know though, I'd love to get some insight on it from participant's point of view. We have lots of friends that attend the show, and we poll them each year to see what went well, what didn't, and try to constantly make changes for the better.

Keep the ideas coming!

Dave- My names Jason by the way, thanks for the invite just let me know where it is exactly and I will try to attend....Dave I really think STOCK should not be able to enter and really push that issue it might open more space? What about moving the event to a bigger place?.....I know Im not a member but it sounds good.....See you Sat.

I like the idea of keeping are rates a steady price and lower spectator, that price for spectator entry was just a little high, but hey I dont make the rules.

-BE DIFFERENT BUILD YOUR OWN-

Man there are good ideas here lets keep em' commin.........

^^^IRP has a ton more space available if you go around the track...They could fit 5000, and actually I think they do for Goodguys.

Dave-The infield is a continuing problem. It's a cluster in there, and something should be done in there. Plus, I paid for a vendor spacen and 5 stock rides parked around me on Vendor's row. Talk about killing sales. You should do a "red lot" and a "blue lot", and restrict the parking in one of the areas. You could also consider having the "cruise lane" go behind the tracks on Saturday, since it sounds like a few people want to cruise.

i think we should have a clubs only area then.

too often at indy i would show up at the butt crack of dawn, and see a HUGE rope roping off an etire stretch of the circle.

Wow, you've got 50 people in your club, you pick 1 guy to stay up all night, go in and rope off your parking spot, so the rest can come in draggin ass later.

First come, first serve.

just another irritant.

I would have loved to have gotten on the circle, so i could watch more crusing ...

eh. Hopefully next year when i go, i won't want to murder myself due to rap music, ghetto stuff, and stock stuff.

I know people are going to disagree with me but this is just my opinion. I agree that stock vehicles need to be kept out of the show because it just clogs things up and dilutes the quality but I would like it taken a step further. Keep out anyone that doesnt have anything worth looking at in general. Nobody cares about a bagged S-10 with a reverse 4-link or some shit setup and nothing else. It's a stock truck bagged. Who cares. To me this is just as bad as stock vehicles. I dunno, maybe I'm being harsh but i would rather quality than quantity.

Note: I'm not picking on S-10's. I own one!

Maybe you should just stick to reading a magazine.

I've been attending the show for several years as well, but after last year I'm pretty pissed about the situation. Does anyone know who the announcer is that's always there? He fuckin threw a fit because I drove through the grass part of it that everyone else was in, not knowing that I was doing something wrong comes up cussing fuck this fuck that go the fuck home if u don't want to go the other way. I just told him to chill the fuck out and didn't realize I was doing anything wrong. Just curious to know who he is because the way he represented himself made him look like a tool. As much as I love being at the show I'm not gonna be there next year.
