who cares, if you like the way it looks, it doesnt matter if you were the first as long as you are happy with the mod.
When I got my blazer I had this wicked idea of putting a 2nd generation sonoma front end on it because my front was smashed and the 2nd gens are titties.
Then I flipped a few issues back and saw the silver star blazer....I just did mine a lil different so people know I built mine and didnt buy or win the silver star one.

I had the idea to do right hand drive with a big motor in a mini. Now that is a common thing in the scene, but I still did it cause its my truck and Im not building it for anyone but myself.

Basically the way to be the first is to be innovative. You have to think years ahead. Think of functionality and style. You need to build something timeless. No matter what, in ten years, it will still look like it belongs in the scene. You need to look at some trucks that are timeless like the Time Machine, or Farfromluzen. Look at what they have created and how long they've been here. But no matter what, build it for yourself and no one else. Don't build it because of a trend because we all know, trends are nothing but that, TRENDS. Look at some of the past trends (i.e. turbo mirrors, body kits, texas tails, lambo doors, etc. etc. etc.) Always remember, LESS IS MORE. Do it to push the envelope, take this lifestyle to the next level, and always remember to have as much fun as possible while doing it.

ive been tossing around the idea of an awd truck for about a year, then i found a profile on here, just when you think you're the only one to think of something, theres always gonna be someone else out there that thinks like you, but beats you to the punch. just glad i didnt spend the $$$ on an awd eclipse drivetrain......

The orignial cut of the bed happened in like 2002, cut the step sides off and put them on a fleet bed.
4 years later, it's still in his garage collecting dust.
