Why is it so hard to be the first?

Just when I thought I came up with the coolest idea, i bought the parts i needed, asked my friends what they thought about it (said it was a dumb idea but i am going to do it anyway like always), asked a few technical questions on here without mentioning what i wanted to do, just getting ready to take my bed off and get a new minitruckin in the mail, sure enougfh on page 84-85 an s-10 with dualie flares. I am pissed. Props to the owner though it looks good, but kinda disapointed to see someone do it before me. Who else has this problem?

i seen a dime converted to a dually like when i was 10, which would have been around 1990.. so sorry to burst your bubble, but it has been thought of way long time ago... good idea thought trying to be a first, but you need to be alot more creative than that to be the first to do anything in this scene... I think everythinghas been now done now that i have seen a F-250 front end on a dime....

yea its tough, cuz you get a cool idea and haven't seen it, but then to have the cashflow to follow through with that idea and have a high quality truck so it gets seen is tough.

what really sucks is to be the first to do something and not get credit for it , i was the first to have air on a 02 ram quad and the guys from autocore got theres in truckn and they said it was the first but mine had air months before they did the black one

^^^What ScojoDak said, dont let it discourage u man...it is so hard to be original these days. The threshold is higher than its ever been b4. Stay w/ it and it will turn out fine, just the way u wanted it...who cares if somebody else has it.

that happens all the time. i have been working on my frame for over 2 years now and i just had this guy over who asked me if i was copying mike alexanders frame. i kindly told him no and informed him that i have been working on mine since before mikes truck was an idea. anyway dont worry about it to each his own and good luck on the completed project. later beau
