4 link question!!

nah the bag placement doesnt cause wheelhop, its about shocks and the bar placement.

sorry to hi-jack this thread... but I am putting a fourlink in this weekend.. its gonna be a newly bagged truck.. Should I but the axle up to the bottom of the frame, and put it in, or should i put my notch in first? I figure with my axle butted to the bottom of my frame that is gonna be close to ride height, so it should be OK... someone let me know..

My original plan was to but it up the bottom of the frame, weld in my fourlink and then notch the frame so I can put the center of the notch over ther center of the axle... help me out and let me know guys... the fourlink is gonna be adjustable, so I can adjust it later if not exactl right, but as for now, I got my axle tacked with u-bolts directly touching the frame and all my measurements are just about perfect and my pinion angle is also.. only thing wrong is I have about a 1/8 inch difference side to side.. which is gonna be fixed befor I weld anything in permanently....

Thats alright man im in the same boat as you im about to put a 4 link on this weekend and this is exactly what im trying to figure out!!! Are you running your forward or reverse? Does anyone have a good suggestion to HELP us out?????

mine is gonna be an all forward.. i am gonna mount my bags on my lower bars.. my design i got going on in my head is hopefully gonna look bad ass. I think i am gonna go ahead and o it my way i am thinking about an if it don't work , i can always fix it.

lol i hear ya man!!! yeah the one im doing is going to be all forward also. What are you doing with the gas tank?

for the time being, i am gonna throw it in the bed and strap it down... eventaully i am gonna get another bed and bodydrop it like 3 inches and mount the tank under it behind the axle, that way i got a solid bed floor also, to put my bike in....
