What is the best way to install a 4 link? I looked in the tech section and there is no article in there. i know that RUSS has an answer to this!!!!

well there's like fiddy grillion ways of doing it and still gettin it right so lemme first ask you what type of 4 link is it? triangulated, parallel, ladder bar, foreward, reverse, cantilever setup, bags over axle, gimme a lil more info and i'll see what i can scrounge up for ya.

well its triangulated and going to be a canti setup. going on an 90 Mazda standard cab.

so many opinions on this subject...i run tri/ forward reverse on my truck, it works fine, but some people dont like it..whatever...look at rcdreamer profile on here, he has tri/ forward reverse, w/ lever setup...

hey shane when you get that 350 in there you are gonna want another setup in the rear, the reason some dont like it is there is no antidive or instant center or anything else related that helps getting the power to the pavement from the setup.

my old nissan had a 3 link wishbone cantilever with the wishbone running reverse. it worked quite well but i couldn't drag much because i used the stock leaf spring hangers (wow that was stupid) but i got mad lift and i only used single bellow goodyear bags. just make sure when u weld on the cantilever brackets you measure about 800 times because on mine they were just a little uneven and when i tried to drive halfway down my truck would seesaw diagonally goin around corners and it was pretty scary. had to drive either all the way up in front or back at all times.
