people running metro boosters

thanks for all the advice. Corvette booster crossed my mind earlier today. I really would like a hydroboost but dont think I can squeeze it into the budget this winter and the goal is to have the truck completely done this winter. So im just looking into alternatives.

any of yall got a pic in your s-10?

my buddy just got a MS and booster from mbm, a grip narrower than the stock booster, but it makes up its volume by sticking forward, and you dont have to worry about bolt holes not lining up.

Mbm marketing sells a booster that will direct bolt on the firewall and the stock master cylinder woks great.they have single and dual diphram boosters.I always use the dual 8 inch for s-10's.Woks great and still has good stoping power much better than the metro booster.Only fab work involved is the hook up to the pedal ass.And its super easy.

I am also a dealer for MBM and can get u a good deal if u need a booster.

I was running a metro brake booster they suck, expescialy with disc brakes all 4 corners. Requires more presure. I am running a hydro boost now the only way to go.

8" booster from a old body s-10....GM code "JM5"...stops my s-10 in a fucking heartbeat.

trust me the motherfucker works!!! and it uses your stock master cylinder DO NOT USE A METRO BOOSTER.....THEY SUCK!!!!

i got a hydroboost out of an astro for $25. It will fit an astro master or 2nd gen s10 as far as i know.

Im running a metro booster and MC. Its stops my truck OK on 17s.

I wouldnt recomend it for 20s on yout S-seires.

I have heard but havent checked it out.. But 4.6 mustangs use a hydro booster and i have been told that its about the same width as a metro booster. Might want too look into it.
