how do you bolt the uni ball to the spindle when the spendle is tapered
There are a bunch of different styles. Are the ones you (eks 10BDRG-N) are talkin about look like this?
LOOK LIKE THAT BUT THE ONES MY BUDDY GOT LOOKS ALOT BEEFER AND BETTER MACHINED. BUT THATS THE BASIC PIC.
STEVEO, YOU MIGHT HAVE TO GET YOUR SPINDLES DRILLED OUT. THE FRIEND IM TALKING ABOUT HAS A 5/8 GRADE 8 BOLT HOLDING IN TOGETHER
so do you gust bolt them in and not weorry about it being taperd or whats the deal not to sure what your saying
Steve, I think you have to machine a spindle specific taper to bolt to the uniball. The uniballs are a universal application. This is where the "custom" part comes in!
those ar not the ones that i have.mine were not $85 ea either.i got mine from camburg engineering.they are 5/8 uniballs.just drill your spindle out alil bigger than 5/8,sleeve it to fit the spindle and the bolt so theres no play in it.
